OUR MISSION AT OASIS INTERNATIONAL
Vision Statement Oasis Intl. is a Prophetic International Training Center that equips believers [those who confess Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior] to live in love and power, fulfilling their God-given call.
Oasis – A haven of refreshing. Fertile or green area in a desert region, usually having a spring or well. Something serving as a refuge, relief, or pleasant change from what is usual, annoying or difficult.
John 7:37-38 (NKJV) “On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, ‘If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.'”
John 4:13-14 (NKJV) “Jesus answered and said to her, ‘Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.'”
Mandate I: To raise up mature believers who serve with excellence.
Each person has unique gifts and callings in order to bring glory to God and expand His Kingdom. As these gifts and callings develop, Godly character and revelation must grow with them in order to serve effectively. We are to live in a manner worthy of the calling, cultivate unity with the saints, and grow up in Him as we fulfill our role in the Body of Christ.
Mandate Scripture Ephesians 4:1-16 (NASB) “Walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, 2 with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love, 3 being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 11 And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; 13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ. 15 Speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, 16 from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.”
Mandate II: To help birth and nurture ministries.
It is our desire to see believers fulfill the mandates given to them by God. We will provide support and Apostolic covering [accountability and mentoring] for the ministries as God leads.
Mandate III: To train believers and teams how to flow in prophetic worship; to reveal the will of God through inspired words, songs and sounds and symbolic expression.
Prophetic worship is worshiping God with a surrendered heart while being sensitive to the desires of Holy Spirit. As we learn to follow Holy Spirit’s lead rather than rely on our own understanding, He enables us to sing and/or play prophetic songs that bring freedom. Strongholds are broken and hearts are touched by the power of God. We are to worship in spirit, not in a form. Believers need revelation of the power of praising God as it impacts people, cities, nations, and the spirit realm.
Mandate Scriptures John 4:24 (NLT) “For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.”
Psalm 33:3, Ephesians 5:19, 1 Samuel 16:23
Mandate IV: To raise up believers who will preach the gospel of the kingdom of God in the earth with healing, deliverance, prophecy, and signs and wonders. We want to see every life, family, city and nation touched by the love and power of God.
Mandate Scriptures Matthew 28:18-20 (NLT) “Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations.”
Mark 16:17-18 (NKJV) “And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
Process of Development for Individuals and Ministries
It is our desire to raise up leaders of righteousness who live only for the glory of God.Everything we are belongs to God including gifts and callings. As we love Him first, He will perfect that which concerns us. (Galatians 5:22-23, 1 Corinthians 13)
As we submit to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, we are able to submit to one another with love and honor. This allows us to receive Godly instruction and to be trained in righteousness. This process is not done in a legalistic or domineering manner, but rather with the heart of the Father to help us grow in Christlikeness. (Ephesians 5:21, 1 Thessalonians 5:12 – 13)
Every believer is valuable and needs to be connected to the Body of Christ through continual fellowship. Necessary ingredients for healthy spiritual development include humility, a teachable spirit, honor, and Godly relationship. (Hebrews 10:24-25, Philippians 2:12)
